Eligibility Enforcement
Investor eligibility is enforced at three layers:- Webapp gating — investors cannot request access to deals they don’t meet eligibility for
- Smart contract enforcement — the Compliance Registry rejects mints, transfers, and distributions to non-eligible wallets
- Transfer agent book-entry — positions are not recorded unless the receiving investor is cleared for the deal
Re-verification
Accreditation and QIB/QP status is re-verified at least every 12 months (or earlier if required by a specific deal). This is handled through the 9Squid webapp and normally requires only updated documentation. Changes in investor status (e.g. no longer accredited, change of control) must be reported to compliance@9squid.com.Team Onboarding
Once your organization is approved, Admin users can invite teammates directly from the webapp:- Admin assigns Admin or Member permissions per user
- Invited teammates complete individual KYC
- Teammates inherit the organization’s approved KYB — no repeat entity verification required
Fund Entity Registration
Institutional investors managing multiple fund entities can register each under a single Admin account. 9Squid completes entity-level KYB for each fund before enabling subscriptions.Wallet and Bank Account Linking
- Wallets are connected once signed in. A new address is linked on first use. Only compliant wallets are permitted to transact in specific deals.
- Bank accounts are linked by Admin users for subscription funding and distribution payouts. Verification via Plaid or manual micro-deposit.
- Fiat settlement occurs via deal escrow at the trustee. On-chain rails are available where configured.
